I have held job positions in the past in which I showed up for my first day of work and staff who was supposed to train me was completely unaware of me existing or that I was even hired. My new co-workers didn’t even greet me. I felt invisible. I fortunately ended up at River Oaks Dental after relocated to this beautiful and fun area. I can tell you that my experience at River Oaks Dental was the complete opposite! I was greeted and welcomed by everyone immediately with smiling faces. The culture at River Oaks is completely different and so positive. My previous experience and education in the dental field was acknowledged which showed me that doctors paid attention to my resume and was aware of the conversations with the hiring manager. I wasn’t just a body to fill a position. I felt valued immediately. Our patients are great. I am almost always smiling or laughing either with the patients and my team members. It makes my heart happy to work side by side so many people who have the same goals for our patients. Being here for only 6 weeks, I feel a part of the team. I feel appreciated and respected. I love my job and there are days I can’t believe this is my life. I am happy to be a part of such a genuine group of professionals. Every single person takes personal responsibility for our patients and the success of the practice. It is truly a work family. I didn’t think I could love it more than I already do, however with growing relationships and the right culture, it keeps getting better. I have found my dental work family. I am proud to tell my family, friends, and anyone I meet that I work at River Oaks Dental.

I feel absolutely blessed to be a part of the River Oaks Dental team! Our team feels like a family because we all are here for the same reason, to provide the best care to our patients and enjoy doing it all at the same time. The atmosphere in the clinic is positive, upbeat and faith filled. The doctors truly value and appreciate all of their team members. This practice is like no other place I have ever worked!

This is such a great place to work. I’m getting closer to my retirement age and now I don’t want to retire! I never thought I’d say that!

I love that our team works hard everyday and always has good intentions for each other and our patients. I have never worked in an office where the doctors are so encouraging and assist so much with professional development and always improving our culture. They actually want you to expand on your awesomeness! I appreciate finally finding an office where the team members actually work together, act joyfully, maintain upbeat attitudes, and have personalities that make me and our patients smile. One of the best parts of my day is reading new reviews from our happy patients. They always warm my heart. Not a day goes by that I don’t feel blessed to be a part of a winning team that truly cares at River Oaks Dental.

I enjoy working for a practice that has allowed me to find my own strengths and shine. I appreciate the flexibility in the schedule that has allowed me to bring my children to their activities in our community and make my family feel like their family! Recently while telling my husband that I was going to a fun golf work outing, I caught myself referring to the group as my friends as opposed to my co-workers… We really work as a team here and I appreciate being a part of a healthy culture.

River Oaks Dental has been my work family for 5 years. I honestly couldn’t ask for a better place to be employed. Working here has grown my love for dental assisting! Coming to work doesn’t feel like a chore, and I don’t dread it anymore knowing that I can truly make a difference in our patients’ lives. Every day I am motivated to keep working hard and pushed to keep growing my skills and that has been very fulfilling. Every team member here is so helpful, if one cannot help with a task, there is always somebody else willing to step up. We are a true team and that makes our work environment fantastic. I feel very fortunate to get the respect and opportunities given by our doctors. We all feel taken care of and, in my opinion, that is hard to come by these days.

Reasons why I LOVE my job: I cannot even begin to express how grateful I am to be a team member at River Oaks Dental. I joined this practice almost 6 years ago, shortly after moving north from the St. Cloud area. All I can say is I am so thankful to have been given the opportunity to become part of such an amazing practice. Enough cannot be said about the supportive team atmosphere and office culture. I will not try to sugar coat it… we work hard… (like all jobs, some days it literally feels like organized chaos) … but we work hard for our patients and each other because we care! We are a group of individuals who approach dentistry with positivity, passion, and innovation. To our doctors, advancement is one of the primary goals. They are very generous with continuing education opportunities. I have achieved so much since joining this practice; being given the opportunity to complete my Restorative Functions Licensure as well as my Sedation Certification, all within the last 6 years. We are a group that works hard and likes to play hard as well. We enjoy getting together as a team outside of the work setting. We have many office events throughout the year where we are able to bond as people and not just as dental professionals who work together. I could go on and on but let me end with this: The thing that sets us apart from other practices are our communications skills as a team. This starts with our morning meetings. At the morning meeting we come together as a team and discuss the previous day, current day and upcoming day. Here we are able to review the schedules as a team and communicate between each department and share some of the real life and human sides of dentistry or personal lives as well. This creates a positive patient experience and organized work flow through each aspect of their visit.
